“I had the pleasure of booking my upcoming trip with Vikas last week. I know as managers, most calls or emails are of a complaint nature as most people do not stop to recognize a job well done. Having worked in the customer service field and call center for many years I know the importance of getting that accolade and note of appreciation from a customer is important.
As Vikas mentioned, he was just doing his job, however, dealing with call centres on a weekly basis, I find that most agents are just there to do their job, and in some cases are not willing to go that extra mile if need be. Vikas was prompt in returning my calls, got the information I needed even though he had to sit on the phone with the hotel to confirm information prior to my booking ( I had other agents tell me to do it myself, and if that is the case, I may as well complete my own booking and not go through a company or agent.
