Effective April 30 2021, Transat has begun to accept and process refunds for eligible customers whose flights were cancelled as a result of COVID-19.

Refunds will be awarded based on the following conditions

  • You have a travel credit
  • Bookings were made before April 29, 2021 for scheduled travel on or after February 1, 2020
  • You did not transfer your credit, nor was it transferred to you
  • You did not submit a claim to your insurance company

Request for Refund

Online forms will be submitted on your behalf. If your travel was booked before April 29, 2021 for scheduled travel on or after February 1, 2020, please fill in the form below to submit your request for a refund by August 9 ,2021. Please ensure to enter the correct booking reference number into the form. Transat booking number consist of 6 numbers and/ or letters or 8 numbers found at the top of your confirmation email and /or in your electronic documents. Please note that regular terms and conditions will apply to any refund requests made after August 26, 2021 at 11:59pm EST

How can I request a refund?

Please complete the form or email onlineinfo@redlabelvacations.com. Please ensure that you are contacting us from the email address provided at the time of booking. Please include your booking and/or trip number and state that you would like to request a refund for your reservation.

What happened if I don’t submit my refund request by the deadline?

If you don’t submit your request by August 9, 2021 you will not get a refund. The travel credit will remain on file with the same conditions and will be available when you are ready to make a new booking.

Will I be notified when my refund is processed?

Once your refund has been automatically applied you will receive an invoice reflecting this change. Please note that requests will be processed in the order in which they are being sent and in chronological order.

Are ancillary products ( seat selection, luggage, Option Plus etc.) refundable

Yes. Please make sure your request refunds by August 9, 2021.

I made a new booking with my travel credit but have not travelled yet. Can I get a refund?

Yes, you are eligible for a refund.

I made a claim through my insurance and was reimbursed, am I eligible for a refund?

No, claims made through insurance are excluded from any refund.

I made a new booking with my travel credit but have a credit balance. Is this amount refundable?

Yes, we can claim the remaining travel credit.

I took advantage of the Book with Peace of Mind offer and got a travel credit. Can I get a refund?

Yes, you are eligible for a refund.

I voluntarily cancelled my booking due to Covid-19 and received a partial refund but had to pay penalties. Can I get a refund on my penalties

No, bookings that have already been reimbursed are not eligible for a refund.

I am holding a future travel credit due to a cancelled cruise booking. Am I entitled to a refund?

Certain cruise lines were offering customers the option to keep their cruise travel credit or opt for a refund of the cruise-only portion of their vacation. Due to this, customers will only be entitled to a refund for the air portion of their cruise vacation. The Future Cruise Credit remains, as per the cruise line Terms and Conditions. Contact us for more detail if holding a cruise booking.

I cancelled the credit card that I used for the original ticket purchase. How do I receive my refund

All refunds will be issued to the credit card you used at the time of purchase. Please contact your financial institution for further steps on how to receive payment

I used my Petro Points as part of payment. Will my Petro Points be refunded?

Yes, Petro Points will be refunded.
