Itinerary

Day 1:  Fly to Beijing.

Day 2: Beijing
Check-in to the Westin Financial Street Hotel *5-star. Spend the rest of the day exploring exciting Beijing at your leisure.

Day 3: Beijing B/L/D
Start the day with a visit to Tiananmen Square where Mao Tse Tung first raised the flag of the People’s Republic. Next, explore the Forbidden City and its magnificent gardens. Also visit a historic home in the Hutong by pedicab and Bei Hai Park. Tonight, enjoy the “Legend of Kung Fu” show.

Day 4:  Beijing B/L/D
This morning visit Ming Tombs, where the emperors of the Ming Dynasty were laid to rest. Next, experience the unforgettable – explore the 2,000 year-old Great Wall of China. Later, drive by the Olympic Site and see the National Aquatic Center (the Water Cube) and the National Stadium (the Bird’s Nest).

Day 5: Beijing B/L/SD
See the playful pandas at the Beijing Zoo. This is followed by a visit to the exquisite Summer Palace, the former retreat of the imperial family. Later, tour the Lama Temple, the only Tibetan temple in Beijing. Tonight, enjoy a delectable Peking Duck Dinner.

Day 6: Beijing – Xian B/L/WD
This morning visit the Temple of Heaven and the Hall of Prayer. After lunch, fly to the ancient city of Xian where you will stay at the Shangri-La Hotel 5-star. Visit the Tang Paradise and enjoy a water show. Later drive by the Big Wild Goose Pagoda.

Day 7: Xian B/SL/SD
Spend the day exploring Xian’s ancient monuments including the site of the 2,000-year-old Terra Cotta Warriors. Enjoy a sumptuous Dumpling Banquet lunch. This is followed by a visit to Great Mosque and a walk through the Muslim Quarter. In the evening, step back in time as you experience special Tang Dynasty dinner and dance shows. Later, see the sparkling City Wall that’s lit up at night.

Day 8: Xian – Shanghai B/L/D
Start the day visiting the brand-new underground Yangling Museum that houses relics dating back to the 2nd Century B.C. Fly to Shanghai after lunch where you will stay at the Renaissance Yuyuan Hotel 5-star. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon touring Shanghai at your leisure.

Day 9: Shanghai B/L/D
Highlights of today’s sightseeing include the Shanghai Museum and the Garden of Mandarin Yu Yuan, and a visit to the Colonial Bund area. Tonight enjoy a spectacular Chinese acrobatic show.

Day 10:  Shanghai - Guilin B/L/D
This morning, fly to scenic Guilin where you will stay at the Lijiang Waterfall Hotel 5-star. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Tonight enjoy a Folk Dance at the Li Jiang Opera House.

Day 11: Guilin - Yangshuo B/L/D
Start the day with a scenic boat trip down the Li River. The cruise ends in the market town of Yangshuo, where you will stay overnight at the Paradesa Yangshuo Resort 4-star.

Day 12: Yangshuo – Guilin - Hong Kong B/L/D
Complete your amazing trip to Guilin by visiting Reed Flute Cave, fabulous Fubo Hill and Elephant Trunk Hill. After lunch, fly to exciting Hong Kong and stay at the Langham Hotel 5-star.

Day 13: Hong Kong B
Enjoy a half-day tour of Hong Kong Island. Visit Aberdeen fishing village, marvel at Repulse Bay and its pristine beaches, ride to the top of Victoria Peak by tram and enjoy the breathtaking view of Victoria Harbour, surrounded by the mountains of Kowloon and the islands of the South China Sea.

Day 14: Hong Kong – Home B
Today, head to the airport for your flight home.
