Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions (the “PDP Terms and Conditions”) together with the itravel2000.com Terms and Conditions govern your Price Drop Protection™ ("PDP") plan. Capitalized terms not defined below shall have the meanings ascribed to them in the itravel2000.com Terms and Conditions, a copy of which can be found in your booking invoice. In the event of any conflict with the provisions of the itravel2000.com Terms and Conditions and these PDP Terms and Conditions, these PDP Terms and Conditions shall govern.

"Customer" means the individual that has purchased a Qualifying Product from itravel2000.com.

"Lead Passenger" means the Customer’s name and related information that is set out in the Client Information section of the invoice. This information will be used to determine the name of the individual to whom any rebate will be payable and the address to which payment will be mailed. In the event there are multiple passengers or individuals in a booking or paying on a booking, and separate claims and payouts to individuals other than the Lead Passenger is desired, the booking MUST be split into separate invoices and the desired Lead Passenger information must be set out in the Client Information section of the new invoice. In the event of any discrepancy or dispute, the original invoice and Lead Passenger details in the Client Information section of that invoice will be used.

"Invoice Total Cost" means the total out of pocket cost, including taxes and any surcharges, for the Qualifying Product as shown on the customer’s invoice at the time the booking is made.

“New Total Cost” means the total out of pocket cost, including taxes and any surcharges, for the exact same Qualifying Product if it were purchased on the date the Price Drop Protection Claim was made. “Price Drop Protection Claim” means the online form that captures the Advertised Price of the Qualifying Product from the itravel2000 website that is submitted in real time when making a claim.

"Qualifying Product" means a new pre-packaged vacation or prepackaged cruise booking from itravel2000.com’s universally accessible main website that meets all of the following criteria: new bookings made between one of the qualifying booking dates listed below with a minimum purchase price of $495 per adult, excluding all taxes and service charges, for prepackaged vacations and cruises booked and paid in full with the following participating suppliers: Sunwing Vacations, Signature Vacations, Transat Holiday, Nolitours, Air Canada Vacations, Tour Mont Royale, Sunquest Vacations, Westjet Vacations, and FunSun Vacations. Qualifying Product does not include any wedding/incentive and general group bookings, nor any air only, “roulette” vacation packages, “hotel surprise” vacation packages or "Flight + Hotel" packages.

PDP cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or offer with the exception of Petro Points (see below for full details on Petro-Points).

PDP plan is subject to a $50.00 administration fee and offers a maximum refund amount of $300 per adult.

Program Details

How it Works The PDP from itravel2000.com allows you to receive a one-time, full or partial refund of the difference in the Invoice Total Cost and the New Total Cost of your Qualifying Product in the event the price should drop (i) after your booking is made and paid in full, and (ii) within your Coverage Period as stated in the Coverage Chart above. The amount of the PDP refund will be determined by calculating the difference between the Invoice Total Cost and the New Total Cost less a $50 per adult administration fee.

Claims for PDP adjustments not in excess of $50 per adult passenger will not be considered. Claims over $300 per adult passenger will be limited to a maximum of $300 per adult paying passenger, less the $50 per adult administration fee. For a claim to be considered, it must be submitted to itravel2000.com within the Coverage Period as set out in the above Coverage Chart. A single refund cheque will be issued to the Lead Passenger upon validation of a claim and within seven (7) business days after the departure date. A $50 administration fee per adult will be deducted from the value of the payment issued for qualifying claims. Qualifying for PDP To qualify for a PDP adjustment, the Qualifying Product must be for the identical departure dates, duration, supplier, flight carrier, flight number, class of service, flight times, hotel, room type and meal plan and the difference in the New Total Cost and Invoice Total Cost is in excess of $50, to a maximum permitted difference of $300 per adult passenger. How to Initiate a Claim Customers will be responsible for initiating the Price Drop Protection Claim through the online process. If you observe that the price of your booking has dropped more than the minimum amount required and you wish to claim your one-time price adjustment, click the “Price Drop Claim” button and fill in all the fields. For a claim to be considered, it must be submitted to itravel2000.com within your Coverage Period as per the Coverage Chart above. Claims received after the Coverage Period as stated in the Coverage Chart will not be considered for a PDP refund. itravel2000.com has created a tool on its website to make it easy for Customers to submit a claim. On the Review page of the booking process, a link called Price Drop Protection Claim is available to capture the verification page which shows the Advertised Price. By filling out the details in this link, your claim is automatically submitted by e-mail to itravel2000.com capturing the Advertised Price and the New Total Cost. PDP claims for package vacations will only be accepted via this online process. For pre-packaged cruise bookings, please call our customer care department at 1-800-859-2920. Invoice Payment Terms To qualify for a claim, the invoice must be paid in full when the Claim is submitted regardless of the payment balance terms offered on the original transaction. Claim Validation itravel2000.com will review the Price Drop Protection Claim within three (3) business days of submission. The Invoice Total Cost of the Qualifying Product will be compared against the New Total Cost for the identical Qualifying Product. Claims for PDP adjustment will be limited to the difference between the Invoice Total Cost and the New Total Cost of the Qualifying Product, subject to a maximum difference of $300 per adult fare less a $50 per adult administration fee. Claims for amounts that are not in excess of $50 per adult passenger will not be considered for refund. The determination of whether PDP requirements have been met is within the sole discretion of itravel2000.com. Valid Claim If itravel2000.com determines that PDP requirements have been met, a notice will be sent to the e-mail address in the Client Information section of the invoice within three (3) business days of the Customer submitting the Price Drop Protection Claim to itravel2000.com. The refund payment shall be made by cheque payable to the Lead Passenger on the invoice and mailed to the address as set out in the Client Information section of the invoice. PDP cheques will be issued within seven (7) business days after the departure date. Bookings that are cancelled prior to departure will not be eligible to receive a PDP claim. Petro Points Promotion A Qualifying Product purchased with Petro Points may be eligible for PDP. If Petro Points are used as the only form of payment and a valid PDP claim is made the rebate shall be made by Petro Points. If Petro Points are used as a partial form of payment and a valid PDP claim is made, the rebate shall be made on a pro rata basis by Petro Points with any remaining balance by cheque. Miscellaneous You agree that PDP does not constitute insurance, and your right to receive a claim is not dependent upon or linked to any actual loss that you may suffer.

These terms and conditions are subject to amendment by itravel2000.com without notice and itravel2000.com may withdraw this promotion at any time without prior written notice.

By participating in the PDP program you agree to the above terms and conditions.
