Passport confusion leads to Canadians bookings alternate destinations

Due to recent confusion and delays for consumers obtaining new passports, itravel2000 Canada’s largest online retailer and etailer has seen a dramatic increase by the Canadian traveller to destinations that don’t require passports. 

“With numerous media reports regarding passport delays we’ve seen consumers bypassing destinations that require passports and opting for destinations such as Ixtapa Mexico,  Punta Cana Dominican Republic, and  Negril Jamaica.”  stated Jonathan Carroll, President of itravel2000.
