Dublin Flights

Dublin Flights

Dublin flights are plentiful, as the city is one the most visited in Europe. Both international travellers and European residents flock to Dublin for city breaks and as a starting point to an incredible Irish adventure.

Aerfort Bhaile Atha Cliath, or Dublin Airport in English, is located a short 10 kms north of the city centre. Passengers arriving from Canada will be able to do so onboard charter air carriers or scheduled air carriers, as both serve the airport. Routinely, charter air carriers provide the most affordable flights to Dublin. However, charters do not fly to the city year-round. Their service is seasonal (usually from April or May to September or October), with one or two departures a week. If your travel dates are not flexible, a flight with a charter air carrier might not be the best option for you. Scheduled air carriers, such as Air Canada, service the airport year-round and fly almost every day of the week making them more convenient choice for most travellers. If you are flexible with your vacation dates, you should still research both charter and scheduled air carriers to ensure you are receiving the best possible rate on your Dublin flights.

Dublin Airport is well-connected to the city through an array of transfer options. Public bus as well as dedicated shuttle bus service is available from the airport to many different locations throughout the city. Select airport transfer shuttles will even drop you at the doorstep of your Dublin hotel, inquire with each company for details on this type of service. Taxi hire can be arranged outside of the airport. Car hire is available too, with most major companies having a kiosk in one of the airport terminals. To avoid long waiting lines, have our travel experts pre-book your car hire before you travel. This will also save you a lengthy and sometimes forceful explanation and sales pitch on car hire insurance policies. Unfortunately there is no direct rail service from Dublin Airport to the city centre; however, Dublin bus runs service from the airport to Heuston and Connolly rail stations and these stations have rail service to the city centre.
