Questions about Cruising

I am pregnant, can I cruise? Cruise lines cannot accept expectant mothers who will have entered the 24th week or third trimester of their pregnancy by the beginning of or at anytime during their cruise.

What is the Minor Policy? Guests under the age of 21 years must be accompanied by a parents or grandparent or guardian 25 years or older in the same stateroom. Please note that adult guests are responsible for the safety and behavior of their minor guests. When travelling with a minor and both parents/legal guardians are not cruising, we recommend bringing an original signed letter from the absent parent/legal guardian authorizing the minor to travel with the escort adult. This will expedite processing by the Department of Homeland Security. *Minor rules may vary slightly by cruise line.

What is the infant Policy? To be eligible for embarkation, Infants must be at least six (6) months old at time of sailing to depart on any Caribbean and/or domestic sailing and Infants must be at least twelve (12) months old at time of sailing to any foreign and/or transatlantic voyages.

What is the Liquor and beverage Policy? Guests are prohibited from bringing alcoholic beverages on board. However, guests (21 years and older only or local legal age of consent) may bring one bottle of wine or champagne per guest on board only during embarkation at the beginning of the cruise *corkage fees may apply. Guests may bring a small quantity of non-alcoholic beverages, all alcohol, additional quantities of wine/champagne, or excessive quantities of non-alcoholic beverages will be confiscated and discarded without compensation. Guests may purchase a variety of beverages onboard the ship. Alcoholic beverages will not be sold or served to anyone under the age of 21 or local legal age of consent. Cruise Lines reserve the right to refuse the sales of alcoholic beverages to anyone. Alcoholic beverages purchased in the gift shops or in ports of call will be retained by the cruise line until the end of the voyage in which it will be given back to the client.
