The United States government now requires all citizens of Bermuda, Canada, Mexico and the United States to present a passport that establishes the bearer’s identity and nationality in order to enter or re-enter the United States. Unless you are a frequent international traveler and participate in an existing U.S. border identity program, you will require a passport. All travelers will be required to present a valid passport for either air, land or sea travel to the United States. For land crossings, children under the age of 15 require a birth certificate only. Documents such as birth certificates, citizenship cards, driver’s licenses and provincial health cards will no longer be accepted by U.S. border agents.
Holy Week in the Dominican RepublicPlease note that Holy Week in the Dominican Republic will range every year between the last week of March and the first two weeks of April (the specific week/date will depend on when Easter actually lies on for the year you are travelling). During Easter week in the Dominican Republic there will be no water sports or tours available. Most casinos and discos will also be closed at the resorts during the Holy week. Further , there will be limited housekeeping services, staff and fewer restaurants & bars open for guests.

Canadian Dollar Conversions of Purchase Values:The amount(s) listed in the invoice is converted into Canadian Dollars at the prevailing exchange rate of the date of invoice. Payments processed at a later date may have a different exchange rate which will be applied either by the supplier or through your credit card company. This movement may cause a variation from the quoted price in Canadian dollars. Itravel2000 is not responsible for currency fluctuations, nor guarantees the Canadian equivalent of the purchase will be the same. The website cannot be held responsible for any variation and upon accepting the payment policies you acknowledge to have been informed of the exchange rate fluctuation and declare your agreement to the corresponding charge being made in the suppliers’ native currency.
Insurance Policy: As per the invoice, if charges for an Insurance Policy is not listed or an Insurance Policy Number is not noted, you have elected to DECLINE travel insurance. Deposit Bookings: For any deposit amount received, the full amount due will be automatically charged on your credit card by the Tour Operator per the above due date or Early Booking Bonus due date if applicable could be charged up to 3 business days earlier than date indicated on invoice . Early Booking Bonus:Packages that include the Early Booking Bonus (EBB) pricing option will require payment to be made at the EBB date, as opposed to the final balance date as currently displayed. In the event that your package selected includes the EBB pricing option, we will notify you within 5 bus days of the EBB payment due date in order to exercise this promo option. Alternatively you may select the regular final balance payment date at the regular package pricing.
Pricing Discrepancies: For any Prices that may appear to be incorrect are subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Tour Operator. The Tour Operators has the legal right to cancel the booking at anytime without prior notice. Please contact an agent prior to booking and refer to the brochure for full details or pricing.
Cruise Line Air:Cruise lines air schedules will not be released until 30 days prior to sailing. Prior to that time we are not aware of the carrier being used or the routing. If you would prefer to travel with a specific carrier or request a direct flight an air customization fee will be charged. Your request may incur additional charges based on availability. Please speak with your agent for further details.
Duration of Travel/Special Events: For all durations, please note the number of nights are based on the travel dates and not the hotel check in or check out dates. For odd durations, some hotels may require an early check out and the hotel will charge additional funds. Please refer to the brochure for full details. Please note that Holy Week in the Domican Republic occurs within the last week of March and first two weeks of April. During this time, most resorts/hotels do not offernightly entertainment or water sports.
If Car Rentals are Included: For all durations, please note the car rentals, if included have a minimum age requirement before picking up the car. If you do not meet the governments minimum age of requirement, you may be denied the rental or have to pay for additional charges. It is your responsibility to follow up with the car rental company for the mimimum age requirement required for each Country, Province or State.
Special Requests: Special Requests, for example, room allocation, adjoining rooms, bed preferences, in-flight meal requirements, in-flight seating requirements, etc., cannot be guaranteed by the TOUR OPERATOR/AIRLINE. While the Tour Operator/Airline will attempt to accommodate such special requests, the Tour Operator/Airline cannot be held responsible if such special requests cannot be fulfilled. Baggage: Due to market conditions, please contact the airline directly or visit them on their website as baggage may be a chargeable option. UNLESS INSURED, ALL BAGGAGE REMAINS AT THE OWNER'S RISK THROUGHOUT THE TRIP. Effective September 26, 2006 at 4:00 a.m. EDT, Transport Canada has announced the following changes to the current restrictions on carry-on baggage, until further notice. Guests will be permitted to bring liquids, gels and aerosols through security screening at Canadian airports provided that the items are packaged in containers with a capacity of 90 ml/90 grams/3 oz or less. The containers must fit comfortably in one clear, closed and re-sealable plastic bag (such as a Ziploc) with a capacity of no more than 1 litre (7" x 8" or 6" x 9"). One bag per guest will be permitted.
Baby formula, baby food and milk, when guests are travelling with a child aged two years or under, as well as prescription medicine and essential non-prescription medicines are exempt from the container size restrictions and are not required to be placed in a plastic bag. However, all such items not in a bag or in containers over 90 ml/90 grams/3 oz. must be declared to screening authorities.
Reminder: Containers of liquids, aerosols or gels in your carry-on must be 100 ml or less. All containers must fit in 1 clear, closed, re-sealable plastic bag no more than 1 litre in capacity.
At time of check-in, Customer service agents will give guests the option to remove any restricted items, which are not in a clear, re-sealable plastic bag from their carry-on baggage and place them in their checked baggage with the exception of cigarette lighters. These restrictions currently apply to all flights including trans-border into the U.S., domestic and international. Due to possible delays at security screening, guests are advised to check in a minimum of two hours prior to departure.
